Football prediction

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that the just-completed NFC Championship Game will turn out to be a lot more fun to watch than the Super Bowl.

I'll match you in bravery, and predict the sun rises in the east tomorrow.

Harsh but true...though other than the Ravens in a fluke game, the Giants were able to manhandle the Patriots right down to the bitter end about a month ago. I guess the game will turn on whether redneck jr. (Eli) rises to the occasion.

I predict a Hannah Montana/Dancing with the Stars halftime show, followed by Dubya appearing on stage with the "new" Blues Brothers (Dan Ackroyd and John Goodman). Hey--it certainly couldn't get any insipid. Or could it?

Eli Manning was born in New Orleans, as was Peyton. So, I will be disappointed with anything less than Britney Spears stumbling around on stage at half time, shouting y'all over and over.

Still, I am surprised the Gints made it all the way. Ten consecutive road wins helps.

I predict a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers halftime show.

The Patriots are beatable. The Eagles almost beat them, and NY beat the Eagles, so it can be done. There is a decent chance that this could be a good game.
