Welles
Seven years ago, Welles Crowther died saving lives. I have written about him before and will again, but the blogger Smooth Stone has put up his annual post in tribute to Welles. Please read it.

Nor will I. I continue to refer to that day as "The Terrorist Attacks" as opposed to the commonly preferred - but overtly neutral - "9/11".

Good idea. My sister was in New York that morning, and for hours her family in California did not know if she was alive or dead. I have hardly been able to think of her for 7 years without remembering how close she was to the site of that attack.
