Barack Obama's campaign has changed its tune on 527s. But it has to be very careful how it plays the instrument.

I doubt his original slap against 527s was sincere. This "new" Obama is the real Obama.

527's are a fact of modern political life. Obama would be foolishly naive not to prepare for the onslaught of coming Rev. Wright adds, and accept help form his own 527's.

Given the amount of flack he's received for doing a complete 180 and breaking a promise on the issue of public financing...
... I doubt he has to be all that careful.

These are not the "527's" that Mr. Obama criticised earlier.
And Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia.
