When being right is more important than winning

Reading today's editorial on the heretofore supposedly elusive "political reconciliation" in Iraq, it is beyond obvious that nothing would depress the editors of the New York Times more than palpable and irrefutable military and political success in Iraq.

C'mon guys, at least act like you want to win. You do, after all, purport to be Americans.

CWCID: Glenn Reynolds.

*elusive "political reconciliation" in Iraq*

a few mere "baby steps"

hardly worthy of mention, really

Two new directors today at the Times, one of whom works indirectly for Buffett. I smell a desperate try at a saving grace deal, but I'll bet the Sulzberger's will have to agree to go before a deal could get done. Only Soros would want to back the Sulzberger's reign of traitorous poop with new money.

What do you expect from the piece of fishwrap (and I mean no insult to fishwrap) that won't call Mugniyeh a terrorist?

The Times is laying off reporters. America celebrates.

Score update: Times admits surge is working, Hillary going down in flames, inviting Buffett onto the board, stock in the toilet, proxy war underway, Risen receives subpoena to testify to grand jury on his traitorous acts, layoffs beginning. Things are definitely improving on Times Square.
