She's a Communist, but supports property rights!
A couple of days ago we linked to the story of the "Che" flag in a local headquarters of the Obama campaign. Well, in a bit of outstanding bloggy reporting, the Lone Star Times reveals that the most probable sponsor of the offending Communist banner -- a woman named Maria Isabel -- is a big defender of, er, property rights! At least when they are her own. Turns out she wanted to build a dacha, or perhaps some other large house, in one of Houston's historic neighborhoods and the local busybodies, or maybe they were preservationists, tried to stop her. How did the Che follower react?
It’s wrong to try to implement restrictions in my private property. I own this piece of land. This is America. I should be able to do anything I want with it.
Even thinking that makes you a Republican in my town, and yet here she is flying a Che flag in Barack Obama's headquarters. So that makes me wonder, did Ms. Isabel ever live in Arkansas?

Well, if she lived in Arkansas, it wasn't in my area. However, the People Republic of Fayetteville (just to the South of me) could have been her home.

Perfectly consistent. Libs are for the death tax, but always inherit theirs, then shelter it. For renewable energy, just not within 50 miles of their property. Bus your children to school, the maid will drive theirs to private school. Higher taxes but never voluntarily pay more. Hollywood elites want public beaches, not in front of their property. Canadian/Cuban/UK health care for the masses, they take theirs to the best.Against listening to terrorists until the big boom occurs. Perfectly consistent.

If the building belonged to somebody else, she would be first in line demanding that the State be permitted to do whatever they determined to be the Correct Thing to the property. True Liberals believe in Socialism for every body except themselves.
