Regarding the Olbermann network
Heh:
I always go to MSNBC to get my news first thing in the morning. I do that because I don't want to live in a conservative echo chamber when it comes to national security issues. I want the bad news, and I want it exaggerated in the way that liberals do when they cover issues like Iraq, al Qaeda, wiretapping, etc. That's precisely why I choose MSNBC to get my news.
There's more.

I consider Keith the Murrow of our time. Of course no one could measure up to Murrow even back then. You lot would be screaming for even Walter Cronkite's head, I suspect.O'Reilley being not the Walter Winchell of our time (though Winchell was a right wing racist schmuck, he was still a journalist). Rather I look at Bill as the Hedda Hopper of our time.
By the way, I was going to be your rightie Pajama Media token tonight, blogging the debate, but I have to pick up the Missus from the airport so they are looking for a replacement. Drat!!!
Olberman is not quite a poor man's Murrow, he is more like a homeless man's Murrow. The guy reminds me of the one really awful boss I ever had - although incredibly dorky and lacking any poise or social grace whatsoever, somehow insufferably self-important. A really weird combination.
