Arctic sea ice news that does not make the broadsheets
I'm sure it has it's shortcomings, but the data to date suggest that Arctic sea ice is in substantially better condition than the predictors (only some of whom are careful scientists) predicted only a few months ago.

It looks pretty much as expected to me - well below the average for 1979-2000.
