A union endorses the McCain/Palin ticket
Regular commenter DEC notes that the nation's largest union of law enforcement personnel, the Fraternal Order of Police, has endorsed John McCain. This is not too surprising. The FOP endorsed George W. Bush in 2004 (although according to this account that was something of a break with tradition). That said, in the broadly applicable immortal words of my grandmother, "every little bit helps."

It's disapointing that DEC himself did not receive the endorsement, but I guess we should be glad for small favors.
