The foreign press, at least, knows there is a hidden hand

The British press knows character-assassination when it sees it:

Sarah Palin's credibility as a possible American Vice-President is being undermined by a series of spoof photographs circulated on the internet.

The saucy pictures, which exploit her glamorous image, have been published amid a concerted ‘dirty tricks’ campaign against the former beauty queen, following her surprise appointment as 72-year-old Republican candidate John McCain’s running mate.

"Concerted" being the operative word.

When will the first American newspaper notice the "concerted 'dirty tricks' campaign"? I'm thinking November 5, in some sort of retrospective story, perhaps by a Newsweek reporter who has been embedded in the Obama campaign under a promise of secrecy.

The correct answer is "never."

If Obama wins, the dirty tricks will be portrayed as just smart, effective politics. If he loses and the dirty tricks backfire (as they are now) then it will be seen as a Karl Rove and/or Hillary/Bill Clinton conspiracy of epic proportions.

The only remedy is to spread the word, and ask each person we know to do their own due diligence on Rezco, Ayers, Wright, ACORN, pork barrel spending, dirty tricks against Palin, etc. People need to know so they can see the misdirection, and danger of Obama's plan for America.

Since American newspapers are willing participants in the campaign, that would be never.

Actually, I think most intelligent Americans on both the left and right will agree that that vestigial media is biased.

Are they knowingly facilitating the smear campaign? Probably not, but are they really that easy to manipulate?

To me, the real pictures are so much sexier.
