A shot of sweet, sweet cheapness
Barack Obama gets his talking points from the Kremlin, the Kremlin gets its talking points from Obama, or they independently and simultaneously decided to attack John McCain for the same thing at the same time. There is no fourth explanation.
Meanwhile, remember the story from early in the weekend -- that John McCain's tough line on Russia put him apart from the Bush administration, the European Union, NATO, and the Obama campaign? No more. One by one they are moving to McCain's position. There's your 3 a.m. moment.

I particularly like this paragraph from the RedState link:
Not all lobbyists are bad. Obama should know given the high number of lobbyists he surrounds himself with.
I have argued that the whole "lobbyist as leper" attitude is ridiculous. Lobbyists are usually the people who understand a situation, product, issue best. A wise and strong leader uses their expertise while never forgetting they have their own agendas.
And I applaud the reminder that *both* candidates have lobbyists in their camps. Obama's "no Federally registered lobbyists allowed at fund raisers" has gotten so much attention people forget there are other ways for lobbyists to exert influence.
