Our vast influence

Wikio gathers information from more than 37,000 widely read blogs and ranks them for "influence," which seems to be a function of incoming links, excluding blogrolls, weighted for the influence of the linker. In the August figures we were ranked 281st. We are grateful.

Where was Instapundit?

Instapundit is listed as 3013 generally and 142 in Politics. That can't be correct.

I think the Instapundit number is screwed up because it migrated from its original address to Pajamas Media only within the last month or two, and Wikio measures over a trailing four months. I think Instapundit will normalize near the top once it has been over at PJM for 120 days.
