Those crazy Alaskans
The rest of us have learned a lot about Alaskan humor in the last 16 months, to wit:
In what might become an annual tradition, an ice sculpture of former Vice President Al Gore has taken its place in front of Thrifty Liquor along Airport Way.
The two-ton “Frozen Gore” sculpture isn’t exactly a tribute. It’s a tongue-in-cheek critique of Gore’s vocal belief in man-made climate change, complete with hot air pouring out of his mouth.
I'm sure it's all an ExxonMobil public relations black op.
CWCID: Watts.

It's a good likeness and fair comment on the left wing "class warfare" crowd as well as the greens.

It's not Alaskan humor, it's small-town American humor. Check out this Google map from the 'directions' page of the website of the East Side Speedway (featuring dirt, kart, and drag racing) in Waynesboro, VA. Note specifically the name of the road that leads to the front entrance of the speedway.

The funniest part is the smoke coming from Gore's mouth is the exhaust from an F-350.
