Supper
A friend of mine had dinner in Morocco about ten hours ago and took this picture with his cell phone. Lovely, in its way.

A neighbor of mine is a Sephardic Jew from Morocco. She informs me that Moroccan food is the best in the world. When she treats me with some Moroccan food, I am in no mood to argue with her.

In a world that includes France, Italy, and Japan, I doubt it. But I have eaten at Moroccan restaurants in the United States, and definitely enjoy it.

My cousin's long career in foreign service included, among many other assignments throughout the world, a stint at the consulate in Casablanca. Thereafter she always insisted that Moroccan food was the worst on the planet.
Opinions in such matters are subjective. But somehow I doubt that the Moroccans serve BBQ loinback ribs and ice cold beer to match ours right here in the midwest.
