Kid Rock don't tweet

I was going to start to use Twitter, but this is giving me second thoughts. My manliness is frail enough as it is.

Kid Rock is not just White Trash, he is the ne plus ultra of White Trash. But I have to give him his props here - Twitter is the most grotesque example of what a self-absorbed person does in his spare time that I have ever seen. Who gives a flying felk about this stuff?
Plus, the clowns who came up with this technology have no plan for how it can generate revenue and become a profitable business (i.e. "sustainable" for all you progressives out there). This makes Twitter among the more classic examples of The Answer To A Question Nobody Is Asking.

With all due respect to Locker Room, Twitter may have begun as a means to report on life's boredom or the contents of navel lint, but it has turned into something completely different. Note that the NFL is trying to ban tweets from the players. ESPN just banned its reporters from tweeting about content. Management of both groups recognizes the power of instant distribution, for free, of content that has value to disparate groups of readers. On the other hand, local news reported via Twitter is absolutely amazing. Following national correspondents who provide links to their articles/posts gives the folks in the hinterlands unparalleled access to information that might not make it through the filter of their local paper. There is much to like about Twitter, if you are willing to study the thing...

Someone should ask Kid rock if he likes Fishsticks. That guy is a motherf***ing musical genius, wordsmith...

Useful but seldom essential.

And that's basically all it's good for - reporting news as it breaks. Most everything else is just crap.
