Caption This!: Sharpton/Gingrich edition
The original caption to this picture, from the White House Flickr photostream, reads:
President Barack Obama, right, meets in the Oval Office with Rev. Al Sharpton and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich to discuss education reform May 7, 2009.
Given the looks on their faces, does anybody seriously believe that? I think even the most humorless TigerHawk reader can improve on the Official Story.

Obama: I have a track record in the area of improving public eduation. I chaired the Annenberg Challenge, which dispensed over $100 million in research dedicated to improving education in Chicago.
Newt: Mr. President, the Annenberg Challenge funded schools ( page 15) had no statistically significant difference in achievement with non-Annenberg funded schools. Mr. President, you were in charge of wasting $100 million in research funding. Ladle out the pork, just like a Chicago pol. Results be damned. On the other hand, that was good executive training for the “Stimulus.”
Sharpton: Racist honkey SOB. You @#$%# your ten year old sister. And I have photos. Or someone told me they had photos.

Gingrich: "what are all of you doing in my office? Who said you could sit here? SECURITY."

"I'm sorry to lose you, Al, but if Newt wants to be your running mate, well, follow your bliss."

The Holy Office of the Inquisition for the Preservation of Faith in The One calls forth the Heretic known as Gingrich, so that he might be persuaded to show how the Gingrich Years managed to reap unparalleled wealth and prosperity, only without all that tax and regulation cutting this time.
“So Mr. Gingrich, would you be willing to step back into your old job? I understand there is an opening coming up very soon...”
With both Glover and Gibson unavailable and the Hollywood bailout placing the President in charge, casting begins on Lethal Weapon 13.
