Putting propaganda in its place
A left wing journalist in Iraq writes the most devestating "letter to the editor" I have ever read. Ouch. Definitely read it, unless you are deeply offended by bad words.

I have hope for that lad. The scales sometimes don't fall from the eyes for lefties until they experience the mindless viciousness of those they thought they generally agreed with.
, atAmerica is an empire? I guess if we can redefine marriage we can redefine empire. Even though his education is obviously deficient that Marxist is capable of coherent thought. A very good start.

The Iraqis are not under our supreme authority, and I'm sure they would be irritated to hear you assert otherwise.
Additionally, each of the territories of the United States has the ability to apply for statehood upon reaching the minimum criteria of organization and population. Most (all?) of the western states were once territories.
If we were a *real* empire, we'd have conquered Canada by now.
Right you are, Dawnfire, in addition, according to the left our leader is a Fuhrer, not an Emperor, or do they have their Presidents confused?

You know the papers are getting too left-wing when even the Marxists write in complaining about it.
, atI nominate that last one as the comment of the month.
