SNL does Biden
Those few of you who have not already seen Saturday Night Live's skewering of Joe Biden really ought to burn three minutes and watch it: "In Delaware, we have a joke. What's the difference between Joe Biden and a pit bull? You can teach a pit bull to close its mouth!" There's a lot more where that came from.
The conservative blogosphere really needs to detail a couple of bloggers just to follow Biden around. If we are going to get through the next four years, we're going to need some laughs.

I love the Biden stuff, and I only wish it had been broadcast more frequently during the election too.
By the way: Here's a passionate article that lays out some very good points about the way forward for the GOP, so that popular arts and media bias is the secondary factor to the election that it ought to be.
I think we see here the first indication of how comedy shows will deal with the next four years... little or no mocking of Barack Obama, and absolutely open season on Joe Biden.
It's safe, and will allow them to claim that they're being as tough now as they've been the last eight years.

The line between comedy and tragedy is getting fairly thin for the next four years.

There is a lot to mock about Obama...big ears; effeminate; willing to throw everyone and everyone under the bus including his dear, beloved grandmother (cue the tears); the deer in headlights look that he gives half the time; the rock star behavior;

I could go on and on.
Funny that the chickens**ts won't do it. What are they afraid of?

I wish I could say that I find Joe Biden and Rahm Emanuel funny.
Unfortunately, I can't.
If you want your major cues as to the nature of an Obama administration just look at these first two selections.
My read: Dems are open for business as usual with a resident pit bull to take on the staff.
Nope, nothing funny here.
"The conservative blogosphere really needs to detail a couple of bloggers just to follow Biden around." Actually what I find to be great about the blogosphere in general is that it is self-organizing. We will not have to "detail a couple of bloggers" because there are bound to be a few who will take on this task just because they want to. The best will get linked to and the others will eventually give up. Free market media!
However, I agree whole-heartedly with the spirit of the post!
