Hope for Princeton basketball?

According to the SportsProf, there is hope for Princeton basketball, and his name is Doug Davis.

Yes, Davis is very good, both offensively and defensively, but he's going to need to learn to pass the ball. There were a couple of times on the break last night that he didn't even fake the pass to an open cutter and drove to the basket only to miss the shot and not get fouled. The rest of the team needs some work as well, but in general, there is very good cause to be optimistic this year. Davis had a spectacular behind-the-back save of a loose ball that last year would have been allowed to get away. I didn't leave the game last night with the urge to demand a refund on my season tickets like I did last year. The team hung in there to the final buzzer.

Sure, Davis is a little raw, but with Zach Finley starting the game on the bench, the #2 guard an open competition and the forward positions "in development", it's not as like there are a ton of offensive options at the moment.

That said, wow, what a performance!
