Book note: Boone

Mrs. TH, who chainsaws through novels faster than anybody I know, also occasionally reads history, particularly biographies. She read Robert Morgan's Boone: A Biography as we trapsed around Spain, and says that it is excellent. I took that for the high praise that it is and thought it my bounden duty to pass it along.

I also picked up this book during a trip a couple of weeks ago - to celebrate our 30th annniversary.

Very good and interesting read.

Boone is listed on my blog as well. I originally read it as my duty as a North Carolina-born Scots Irishman, but I was able to take pleasure in duty as it was a great read.
