Northwest Airlines denounces McCain "attack ad"!
The official airline of the Republican National Convention objects to an airport arms control ad directed at John McCain, who has in fact been all mavericky about wanting to cut back on nuclear arsenals. Northwest Airlines is obviously worried about the reaction of arriving Republicans, but the ad is not inconsistent with McCain's position. So either Northwest Airlines does not understand McCain's position, or it thinks that Republicans who do not understand it will be offended. Both are possible, I suppose.
Anyway, this is what happens when corporate flacks try to do the work of bloggers.

I'm guessing that by now, the "Concerned Scientists" are two 78 year old physicists living off their UC Berkeley pension. They finally saved enough for an ad or two and this is it.....
