Father's Day is coming soon!

On the off-chance that you are not totally organized for Father's Day, Amazon has put together a helpful page full of links to manly products. For some inexplicable reason they lead with "Men's Jewelry," which is not the least bit interesting to me (wedding band, watch, done), but there are all sorts of other things that the dad in your life might actually want to get.

Mine wants the DVD of "There Will Be Blood" starring Daniel Day Lewis. Not a good sign...

By the way, nothing on Obama's likely nomination? Press release no says he's going to accept on anniversary of MLK speech. I know you lot find it all amusing/pointless/infuriating/scary/humbug whatever. But we descendents of human chattel--fruit of the original sin staining this nation and shaping it on so many levels from Jamestown to now--are pretty friggin' emotional now. Even the Hillary supporters. Hell, even our official state clown, Michael Steele, didn't get the talking points memo yet. He was "proud." I'm usre he'll recant on Hannity & Colmes, but hey, still nice to hear from him...

PS I heard 83's 25th wasn't as well attended as ours, didn't raise as much moolah (as if Princeton needs it--how bout some tuition relief?) and seemed a bit boring. Your take?

I'm still at the office, where I have generally been for weeks. That explains why my blogging has been so sparse and lame, and why I spent very little time at our reunions (sad to say).

But then again Obama isn't.

JLWIII, you're right...and you sound like the snively/snide douchebag kid everyone hated in 4th grade for pointing that out. Congratulations for making my point...
