Annals of free speech: Banning obvious parody from campus

We are actually interested in Colorado College for our son, but this story about the administration's reaction to a case of obvious parody rattles me. It is hard to understand how a college president could even have the impulse to react to this sort of thing, much less act on the impulse.

One thing is clear: reason and deliberation were not involved.

CWCID: Glenn Reynolds.

Be careful about CC for your son TigerHawk. My long time high school girlfriend went to CC and loved it, but entered the job market woefully unprepared to juggle multiple assignments at once or to take a longer term view of a project (if it lasted longer than a month she had trouble keeping all the plates spinning). Other than that, great people, wonderful location and plenty of opportunity for the TigerHawkson to debate with his classmates.

Time for all those universites, collages and schools to lose their tax support when they violate the constitution and the rights of the students
