OBAMAGANDA: CHANGE AND OBEY. YOUR CHOICE?
I love "the artist's statement" thing that artists these days feel they have to do. Don't you? There's nothing beats an artist just spelling it out in case his talent wasn't large enough for you to get it just by looking. It's good to know the portrait is "iconic," because if there's one thing Obama is short on lately it's deification.

I think we should listen more closely to the warriors when they talk about war, to the economists when they talk about the economy, to the lawyers when they talk about law and to the artists when they talk about.... art.
If by "listen" you mean "completely ignore their whining", then I'm in total agreement.
