A question for Robert Redford

Robert Redford is going to produce the movie version of Richard Clarke's nonfiction book, Against All Enemies. The question is, will Redford's movie include the vivid and surprising scene described in pages 143-144?

I'm guessing not. Anybody want the other side of that action?

The movie will undoubtedly be more about the public 'impression' of Clarke and his book, than the actual substance. How many people have actually read it (not just bought it) and understand what they read?

The phrase "Fog of War" comes to mind. Also, the concept of propaganda and disinformation.

Time marches on.

yawn
Another pampered, narcissistic "Artist" with delusions of political relevance prepares to drive yet another spike through the tree on whose fruits he has so gluttonously gorged himself.

Soon thereafter, he will congratulate himself for his depth and bravery, and bask in the adulation of the hordes of similarly self-loathing consumers of liberty.

He will also very likely make (vs. earn) bucketloads of cash, which will enable him to further amplify his courageous protests against the evils of capitalism.

Wake me when it's over.
