Factoids from the ASPS (via email)

I've given over my Sunday and Monday this week to attendance at the annual
meeting of the American Society of Plastic Surgery in Philadelphia, so
blogging may be a bit light, or at least weird. There are, however, a lot
of blogworthy subjects at a plastic surgery convention, so we will get a bit
medical when we do post.

For now I have but one factoid to report: did you know that the average
cadaver has 19 square feet of skin, of which only 6 square feet (or so) may
be harvested? A skilled tissue bank technician can remove that donated
tissue in about 90 minutes.

TigerHawk: Your source for weird knowledge.

I don't know if that's cool or disgusting. Maybe both.
