Watch this video of Major Garrett asking White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs what the president's reaction was to Nancy Pelosi's accusation that the CIA lied to her. As Garrett points out, the Speaker of the House accused the CIA of committing a crime, yet the White House only wants to "look forward" and in any case has no opinion.
Well, it sure is interesting to know that President Obama does not care if the CIA lies to Congress. The question is whether the president is hanging Nancy Pelosi out to dry, or Leon Panetta. The only alternative, which now looks like the lead horse, is that the non-Fox mainstream media ignores the scandal for the good of the party.

I am not surprised that Obama is not rallying to Pelosi's defense. He managed to get elected without knuckling under to the democratic power structure that dubbed Hillary the ordained candidate. Why waste political capital defending the indefensible? Pelosi got caught dissembling-too bad for her.
Ya think Obie even bothers to check under the bus? Or clear the wheelwells of detritus? He's just hoping noone notices he don't know how to drive the friggin thing. I think many oft give him way (waaay) too much credit.
1. I've read numerous MSM articles about this issue.
From Time magazine on Thursday:
"How Waterboarding Is Drowning Pelosi"
From CNN on Friday:
"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is engaging in a 'despicable, dishonest and vicious political effort' to withhold what she knew about the CIA's harsh interrogation techniques, former Speaker Newt Gingrich said Friday."
2. Paneta speaks for Obama. As every good exec know, you don't buy a dog and wag the tail yourself.
From the New York Post today:
"In an astonishing broadside from a fellow Democrat, CIA Director Leon Panetta yesterday flatly rejected House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's charge that the agency had failed to fully inform her about the harsh interrogation techniques used against terror suspects."
