Princeton in the snow

After shoveling out this morning, I took the big camera on an early morning stroll around town and the upper campus before retiring to Starbucks to pump out work.

The TH crib, which took a long time to shovel out thanks to the huge dump from the plow at the end of the driveway. Fortunately, I don't actually need to drive today, I just need the option.

Beautiful! You don't see that kind of snow in New Jersey very often. Enjoy it before it turns to mush...

Jack,
Your contractor should have dug you out. Heart attacks happen to fit folks all the time . Then who would write this blog?

Yeah, well, if my "boot camp" classes have not already done me in, 90 minutes of shoveling snow won't. I felt fit as a fiddle. Bigger risk, anyway, is to my back.

In contrast, it's currently 67F and sunny outside over here. Very un-winterlike, for sure.

I just returned from errands in Trenton and West Windsor. The roads in those cities are essentially clean and clear, in huge contrast to Princeton. This is just bizarre, considering what we pay in taxes.

We've got 40 people coming to dinner tonight. As you can see from TH's pictures, our streets are already narrowed by the half-job snow plowing and I wonder if parking is safe...

A definite improvement on the Moore.

Nice!

As a fellow camera aficionado, what, exactly, is the big camera?

Is there a way to submit photos for consideration as "guest shots?"
