Holt survives Sipprelle in New Jersey's 12th

We are defeated. Rush Holt has survived by the skin of his teeth. The world is apparently, though unfortunately, safe for "rocket scientist" Congressmen.

Very sad indeed.

However, even with the dreadful Rothman and Pallone winning, or at least that is what it seems at this point...

THEY WILL BE SERVING without a Majority - Nancy Pelosi will no longer be SPEAKER!

Looks like Adler might be gone as well.

I think the Christie Administration should see if any ballot boxes were stuffed in Mercer.

However, Holt, Pallone, Rothman, etc., will be seeing trouble in their future. It is only going to get worse for Democrats with the healthy-fair redistricting with the Christie Administration.

In fact, throughout the USA, so many Republicans are winning the Governorships, the redistricting will be essential, and does not look good for Democrats.

I hope Mr. Sipprelle will consider trying again, he can do it.

It is a good night, a great time to think Nancy Pelosi is no longer the Speaker.

However, several lessons predictably should be learned, Mrs. O'Donnell was a total flop, and the fashion again proves to be mistaken. Biden's Senate Seat owned by years by the terrible Democrats, was given back to Democrats for 6 more years - and we could have had a Republican with a 50% ACU Rating caucusing with the Conservative Senators in the GOP. Also, we may have had a better chance at gaining a Majority, winning those essential Committees and Subpoena powers.

The TEA Party Protests are admirable, I participated in the early ones. But the Tea Party Express, exploiting a sound movement, has made many errors, which has eventually aided the Democrats.

We simply cannot afford this in the future.

Cannot afford what? A historic victory? A popular mandate? A firm rebuke to the progressive agenda?

I would LOVE to buy more of this in the future.

Californians certainly can't afford the future they have voted for themselves this evening. But that's their problem, and they'll have to live with it.

Good riddance to Pelosi's stupid gavel, anyway.

Scott 'snot.

Let's not run the hedge fund manager again.

And, for a truly novel idea, when we redistrict Mr. Christie let's put Monmouth into one instead of that half a$$t jagged line running down the middle.

I know that would put Princeton on a raft with Trenton and South Plainfield but most of the liberal weenies in Mercer and Middlesex deserve each other.

And at least Monmouth would get fair representation, as in
Congressman Little.

Just sayin.

Don't fret...it will always be that way.

For Republicans to "get out the vote" usually means that people have to change their work scheudles.

For Democrats, "getting out the vote" means getting students to cut classes and bussing people to the polls who otherwise whould not know where they were.

It's an uphill battle.
