Statistical tie

If you are Hillary, this has gotta hurt. The one point difference is random.

Speaking of Mrs. Clinton, I seem to recall her holding up a NY Post "Bush Knew" headline on the floor of the Senate shortly after 9/11. What goes around...

Sarah Palin as most admired? Throwing up a little in my mouth.

Couldn't admire anyone less. An intellectual and accomplishment empty vessel. No rational, thinking person would ever vote for her.

"No rational, thinking person would ever vote for her."

I'm still waiting for an explanation for why I'm a "Jerry Springer idiot" for being an AGW skeptic and for what your scientific basis is for believing in AGW.

Now you tell me I"m not "rational nor thinking" if I'm warming up to the idea of Palin in 2012.

Can you see the irony, Vicki?

You are beginning to see how our friend from Pasadena operates. No, she is not able to see the irony.

"No rational, thinking person would ever vote for her"

By this statement you are called the overwhelming majority of residents of the state of Alaska irrational dolts.

These are the same irrational dolts that get profit sharing from the states utility contracts, enjoy an unemployment rate of about 8.7%, enjoy one of the highest median incomes in the United States...and that doesn't even take the natural beauty into account.

Of course, it's a red state...but that goes along with the other statistics.

If you want crime, bankruptcy, government waste and urban blight...you will have to head off to California, New York or Michigan...where all the (ahem) rational, thinking people live.

Palin could certainly do no worse than the bumbling incompetent fool that is the current resident of the white House, vickie.

Hey vickie, enjoy the Rose Bowl and BCS Championship games. If I were you though, I wouldn't talk to too many of the folks from Texas or Alabama. Ohio fans might not be too safe either.

Sarah Palin is the most competent person yet mentioned as a possible candidate for 2012. Read her book, consider her life experiences and her record. I could not admire anyone more. She represents common sense, hard work and the core values that have made this country the great nation that it is. She is the only person considered as a candidate at this point that would change the cesspool that is Washington.

Read her book then reflect. Palin for President - the answer.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at Wed Dec 30, 10:14:00 PM:

Gandalf, If Palin is the answer, the question is scary.

By Blogger Assistant Village Idiot, at Wed Dec 30, 11:03:00 PM:

No, TH, no. Don't even mention Palin, or lefties show up with their automatic responses, like fish to a lure. If someone says "Sarah Palin," they have to say "...she's stupid, you're stupid, I can't believe how stupid..." unrelated to the context and without giving any supporting evidence*. It's a bird-call thing, cluttering up the electrons and preventing discussion.

Ah, I see I am too late. Learn from this.

*Occasionally, an anecdote, 50% likely to be untrue, will substitute for evidence.

By Anonymous tyree, at Wed Dec 30, 11:15:00 PM:

The great thing about Sarah Palin is the left hates her so much they will underestimate her. They really, truly believe she is stupid. Normal people know that she can't be.

An intellectual and accomplishment empty vessel. I thought Vicki was referring to Obama. As I recall during the campaign the standard rejoinder to his lack of accomplishment was that he was running a successful campaign. Maybe Sarah will also run a successful campaign and therefore be competent to be president (at least for those who think like Vicki that she lacks accomplishment). I already think she has the mojo.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at Thu Dec 31, 09:56:00 AM:

Honestly, repeating the campaign rejoinder saying Sarah Palin is as accomplished as President Obama scares me more than a little. I've had enough of amateur hour. She's got to show she's more accomplished than the president was prior to taking office, and she's doing so by taking the serious political risks she's taken in 2009 and, seemingly, making them pay off.

That picture of Hillary isn't very flattering, that's for sure...

By Anonymous Anonymous, at Thu Dec 31, 09:01:00 PM:

Stop trying to confuse the the obvious Lib with facts! Facts to libs are like garlic to vampires!

Its okay, Vickie: I know you give no credit to one who negotiates tough contracts with Exxon, roots corruption out of her own party and seriously governs a whole state; when you can drool over a "community organizer" who's shown he couldn't successully run a paper route.

By Blogger Gary Rosen, at Fri Jan 01, 12:36:00 AM:

"accomplishment empty vessel"

What exactly did BO accomplish in his adult life before his election as POTUS?

What did he lead?

What did he change?

What did he cause to happen?

The answer to all the above questions is zip dot squat, nada, zilch, bupkis.

By Blogger JPMcT, at Sat Jan 02, 12:01:00 AM:

The only thing that Obama has consistently run well is his own mouth.

But I can't give him credit for this because all he does is lie!!!
