Bad business
Williams-Sonoma snubs the wrong teenager. Retailers and other service businesses would do well to remember the old saw, "treat everybody as if they are loved by a blogger with 500,000 readers a day."

Decades ago my father sent me down to the Pontiac dealership with my two brothers to collect some information about a car he was thinking about leasing. We couldn't get the time of day from the salesmen. He was puzzled by their lack of interest in three teenage boys because living so close to Hollywood we could have just signed a record or movie deal, or for that matter joined the Marines and were looking for a way to spend our signing bonus. He shrugged and said, "Their loss," and leased from another dealer.
But showing a lack of respect for the Instadaughter is a mistake of epic proportions.
I find it interesting that a major retailer would have such an obvious abusive personality as this WS salesperson as the face of the enterprize. After 500,000 hits via Insta, one thinks it might eventually impinge the craniums of the managers/exec's and equity holders....but they much like our dead media just refuge to wakeup.
