VPOTUS = Tommy Flanagan?
There is a significant disagreement going on between Vice President Biden and Karl Rove this week regarding conversations involving then-Senator Biden and President Bush in the White House during the last administration. The lede of the most recent AP article:
WASHINGTON – Vice President Joe Biden said he gave then-President George W. Bush an earful in the Oval Office. Former Bush adviser Karl Rove says Biden's version of that encounter is at best an exaggeration — at worst a lie — and part of a pattern.So, in the view of Karl Rove, we have a sitting VPOTUS who is basically like this memorable SNL character -
On the other hand, Vice President Biden recalls himself as speaking truth to power, in the manner of the fictional Jack Ryan, confronting the POTUS in the Oval (skip ahead to 2:10)
If there are other White House staffers who witnessed the Biden-Bush exchanges, their input is welcomed.
In the meantime, I'm off to visit . . . Morgan Fairchild, yeah, that's the ticket!
