Talent fest: Megyn Kelly interviews Miss California
My favorite television talking head, Megyn Kelly, interviewed Miss California, Carrie Prejean, who seems to have tubed her chances at the Miss USA crown over her actually quite modest defense of traditional marriage. Bask in the blond rightiness:
If you are thinking that Ms. Prejean looks like a natural on a Fox News set, you are not alone. Allahpundit, who has a clip of her free-markety interview with Neal Cavuto, notes that Carrie opposes "bailouts and welfare" in addition to gay marriage. "Blonde, beautiful, and conservative: I’d be surprised if Ailes hasn’t signed her already."
Me, too.

Megan always is pretty much on top of her game. Looks nice too. But, ahem, I have to give her credit for seeing the full picture. The necklace and alluring garb. She must have been a hell of a lawyer.
Christopher, esteemed troll, liberals are supposed to be accepting, and tolerant, and multi-cultural like, er let's see, Perez.
M.E.
Yawn Chris... Glad you have something remotely important to say.

Back in 2000, it was the bleat of the left that the majority of votes won by Gore meant he should be POTUS. This 'issue' of same-sex marriage has been decided in most of the states, including California, where a 'majority' just said "we don't want this".
How the left can attack her for simply stating her personal belief, held by her religion, and the majority of Americans, is just pathetic, but not surprising.

Mr. Chambers, has anyone ever told you that you are a pig?
I suspect you have a poster sized pic of Janeane Garofalo taped seductively to the back of your bathroom door.
Now there's a real woman!

I saw a headline today that the new Miss USA is sbsolutely 100 percent A OK with Gay marriage.
Hmm. Why would a Southern Belle say such a thing?
It's fascinating to me that no article I've seen about this episode mentions that the crowd cheered at her answer.

So, some people deny someone a title to a tedious beauty title over a politically incorrect opinion of no direct relevance to the contest.
We have reached the nadir of social development where the loudest voices are in favor of removing any established standards except for the the one they hypocritically proclaim they follow while actively contravening those same values. What I hear is that no judgments are allowed in all fairness to everybody while the loudest voices follow no such constraints. Seems like those people bark from the shadows while they attempt to disassemble society through fear and intimidation.
