Free trade's unlikely ally 


In the "bizarro world" news item of the day, the historically Communist Fidel Castro has stirred himself to declare the importance of free trade, and to condemn the corruption of the American Democrats for pandering to the labor unions. Next thing you know, the United States of America will be nationalizing its banks. Oh, wait...

The bigger question is if Cuba has any crap we would want to buy?

I'm sure the UAW can't wait to locate a plant down there...

Well, to give credit where credit is due (sorta), Communists never kowtowed to Unions and kept them firmly under thumb instead.
