Fiesta Bowl halftime report: Can Ohio State win this?
Against all expectations, Ohio State is leading Texas 6-3 at halftime. Can the Buckeyes hold on and redeem the tattered honor of the Big Ten, heretofore sustained aloft only by the glorious victory of the Hawkeyes over the Gamecocks in the Outback Bowl?

Here, in the vast wastelands of suburban Columbus, a multitude is holding their breath.
Great game by the Hawkeyes against South Carolina, though. They looked pretty overpowering against the Gamecocks.

Btw, those idiots that Fox Sports had in the booth, Matt Vasgersian and Tim Ryan, did an unbelievably horrible job calling the game last night. One error after another, interspersed with repetitious stupidities. I kid you not that, here in Dallas, the radio announcers for high school football games are better.
