Bootlicking in public
Every now and then you see a company do or say something so degrading that you wonder what, if anything, its purpose might be.

Speaking of corporate whoppers, did anyone else notice the Siemens bribery settlement? $ 1.34 Billion. They haven't ruled out criminal charges either.
I used to work for that company -- this doesn't surprise me AT ALL! Par for the course.

He's just tryin' to suck up to the new boss...not that it will do any good. "deer in the headlights" might even an even better analogy; the utilities (and therefore their customers) are going to be in a terrible position, once the new "Energy and Environmental team" take office next month. Their stated goal is to wreck our economy (even worse,) while trying to solve a problem that arguably doesn't exist
