I'm counting on a lot of people 'awakening' to the fact that while change might be coming, and in many respects needed, that John McCain merits the win this go round.
I believe that Obama's ideas are bad for America and out of the mainstream, and hope that there are enough closeted right-of-center voters in the right districts to prove that point.
For me, either way, whoever is elected will be "my President". I suspect there are many who will not be able to truthfully make the same statement.

I always feel a lot more comfortable when references are cited to support positions like Morans. I agree that change is inevitable, but as Ronald WIlson Reagan said (circa 1988) "We (the GOP) are the change." This drift toward socialism and the government owing assets others than parks and aircraft carriers is trouvbling to me.

I agree, JT. If elected, Barack Obama will be my president. I will argue against him when I disagree, but I will not try to delegitimize him. We've had quite enough of that in the last four years.

He will be my President, but that doesn't mean I have to like it!
