Up and down 


I don't think the stock market is volatile enough. I mean, as of 12:30, the DJIA has only traveled (in both directions) like a thousand points today. C'mon guys, price discovery does not have to be so orderly!

Volatility is your friend, but judgment and timing are everything.

If you want more stability, I recommend liquidating your investment portfolio, going to Vegas, and spreading ("diversifying") it across all the bets on the craps table. Not only will your returns be less volatile, but you can get free beer.

Note the predictable 2 p.m. uptick after the hardcore financiers get back from their martinis and pull the trigger on the rest of the day.
