Jesse Jackson's October Surprise: "Zionists" are the rubes
This is almost enough to make one feel sorry for the Obama campaign:
PREPARE for a new America: That's the message that the Rev. Jesse Jackson conveyed to participants in the first World Policy Forum, held at this French lakeside resort last week.
He promised "fundamental changes" in US foreign policy - saying America must "heal wounds" it has caused to other nations, revive its alliances and apologize for the "arrogance of the Bush administration."
The most important change would occur in the Middle East, where "decades of putting Israel's interests first" would end.
Jackson believes that, although "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" remain strong, they'll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House.
As we have written before, it is not at all clear that Barack Obama's recent claims to support America's alliance with Israel are sincere. Jesse Jackson obviously does not think that they are.

, atFortunately for Obama, the article runs in the NY Post. In the city dubbed "Hymie Town" by Rev. Jackson. So, the source is suspect.

"October Surprise" or "More of the S.O.S"?:
To suggest that Jackson has an "insider" view of Obama's motives because they are both black is silly. Or worse.

Jackson's son is an Obama insider. Jackson's organization has received pork from Obama when he was in the IL and US Senate.
Jackson is also connected to the Daley machine, which is running Obama.
So, I'd say he has insider status.

Yeah, "anonymous", why should anyone think Obama is anti-Israel just because most of his associates and foreign policy advisors are (Wright, Ayers, Brzezinski, Malley, McPeak, Powers)?
, atClearly Obama does not care about Israel or American Jews, but he does want the Jewish vote. Which they will provide for the One!! Rather unbelievable for this flyover country WASP to comprehend.

This is a set which will allow Obama to profess his undying love and devotion to Israel, zionists, and Jews in general. Sigh!!!
, atNo one seems to care anymore about Jesse Jackson. I'd like to think that guys like him (and Sharpton and others of the "blame whitey" crowd) become marginalized in the wake of an Obama victory, but I will believe it when I see it.

Mostly unrelated, except that it has to do with Israel. And is extremely interesting.

Whiskey -- Here, then, is the "insider"'s view:
"I know that under a Barack Obama presidency, the United States of America's relationship with Israel will remain rock-solid, strong and unshakable. Barack Obama is committed to maintaining and strengthening the special bond between our two countries, born of our shared values as well as our common interests," the younger Jackson said in a statement.

Didn't Obama *already* throw Jackson under the bus? Now he has to do it again, and he gets the guy's son to do it for him! Pretty slick mo-fo, that BO.
