He Said What?
Joe Biden continues to bear gifts for John McCain.
In this particular installment, Biden tells supporters that some adversary of the US is likely to create an international incident to test Obama, and the Obama- Biden ticket will need their supporters to, well, support them, because it's not clear that whatever path of action they choose will "be right."
Where does this guy come up with this stuff? Please read the entire thing.
He goes on to make some hubristic comment about having forgotten more about foreign policy than most others know, thereby making me feel even better about the Democratic ticket and its ability to manage foreign policy.
Ok, let's give Biden his due. He's probably right on this one. If elected, Obama will face a serious and dangerous foregin policy challenge early in his presidency.
Who's that make you want to vote for?

Right, at the risk of yet another anonymous post that I'm a racist for dissing the One, I would assume that electing an anti-Israel, anti-USA, anti-strong-self-defense (most of us are anti-war) President will embolden our enemies.
But that's just me. As for Biden, Obama has his handicapped child ... the man is simply an idiot, and should just smile and wave rather than open his gaffeamatic.

I'm votin' Obama. I like him because he hates America, Israel, defense, war widows, puppies, God, good food, Democracy, sunshine and happy thoughts. Just like me.
Now I'm off to pal around with my terrorist buddies as we figure out what socialist health care system we like the most. By the way, you successful rich folks out there better have my check! I need some money to investigate Joe the Plumber.

Wow, so we're expected to support the President when he makes 'tough' and 'unpopular' foreign policy decisions?
Really? Democrats?
Really?!
Since when? Because an awful lot of people owe George Bush an awful lot of slack.
Oh wait... what that? Oh, right. I forgot. The rules are different for you guys. Sorry, won't happen again.

Catchy - actually, that was funny. But I noticed you didn't comment on Biden's remarks - which I suspect we may agree were perhaps politically imprudent.

Even Biden does not go spouting off like this without some reason. Even weird ones.
My best wild guess is that Israel laid down the law in a private meeting in no uncertain terms. They have no confidence in the Obama administration to restrain Iranian nukes, and will take decisive action on their own as soon as his election is final.
If Iran is to get the radioactive pasting they have been requesting for so long, I presume they think it is best to do it during an oil price slump as we are experiencing right now.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to buy some canned goods.

Possibility? Iran and Israel will get into a hot war, Obama will send in US troops. It will seem 'wrong'. Guess why.

Well, it's not just Iran.
Hezbollah in Lebanon.
North Korea.
Russia and the Ukraine.
Somalia (again?).
Venezueala and Cuba. A twofer!
Well, at least there's no longer a problem with the no-fly zone over Iraq.
Biden just doesn't have a buffer between his brain and his mouth. Any thought that pops into or was place in his brain will emerge in 24-48 hours. Take two asprin with plenty of water and bed rest.

They'll be "protecting" the peace loving Iranians from Israeli non-proportionalism.
Took the words right out of my mouth, Anon at 3:49.
The first WTC bombing occurred a month after Bill Clinton took office, the second WTC attack 9 months after GWB was sworn in (per 9/11 Commission, attacks were scheduled to be carried out in May but were postponed because of readiness issues) so frightening as it seems, it's not a huge stretch to think that the bad boys may be planning an inagural surprise.

I actually agree with Anonymous 3:49.
仓库货架 仓储货架 货架 货架 -- LOL .. that's so true, so true.
When Biden speaks a Republican gets a talking point. He's a goof.
With all these "experienced" people making decisions these last 8 years, I'm not too concerned about Obama's lack of it. I think Obama is smart, will surround himself with good people, and make good decisions which, as Biden tried to say, may not be popular within his own party. Which is fine by me.
Good people ... Pelosi, Frank, Biden, Reid, Wright, Ayers, Rezko, etc.
Diff is that the experienced guys took action, the other guy did nothing, which lead to increasing acts of aggression on the US and US-targets.
Fecklessness will get us WW3, especially if a rogue nation supply materiel to use against Israel. And if the enemy thinks Obama won't act decisively, it'll embolden them.
Personally, I think Obama is a product of affirmative action, and a lot of media training. He does well with the teleprompter and talking points, but he stinks when he goes off script. Biden is just pathetic ... I've not paid much attention to him before, but now understand why he only received 25 votes in Iowa before dropping out.
