A report that the Russians have escalated to Georgia proper 


One of yesterday's hanging questions was whether the Russians will escalate by extending their campaign beyond South Ossetia into the rest of Georgia. Well, Stratfor is reporting that they have attacked Georgian telecom facilities south of the provincial border:

Georgian authorities say Russian aircraft have bombed telecommunications targets in Gori, which lies south of the border with South Ossetia, Interfax reports.
