A reductionist view of the American presidential election
This description of the presidential election is both reductionist and mean-spirited. I was appalled, and as a lawyer was offended on behalf of my profession.

You need to draw the distinction between persons trained in the law, and persons who have successfully practiced law. Especially since one of the quartet failed the DC bar exam and failed to distinguish herself in Arkansas; another lost his license for prevarication; and the others merely used their law degrees as stepping stones to politics.
I've worked with hundreds of lawyers throughout my forty year business career. I can count, on the fingers of one hand, the lawyers that made positive contributions to my businesses. The notion that being a lawyer qualifies one to hold public office is utter nonsense.
No offense,
But in my circles of hell, lawyers and journalists occupy roughly the same level.

, atAnd I trust that you (and perhaps Mrs. Tigerhawk) were appalled by the characterization of each woman as a "bitch who is a lawyer" ... I'm not surprised, somehow, that they're being called bitches first and lawyers second -- MCU

I was too smart to ask Mrs. TigerHawk her opinion.

I cannot (and therefore will not) attest to the pulchritude of John McCain's wife's chest; however, the Danes seemed to have clarified most of the other "variables" involved.
Let's dispense with the election, and start dispensing the beer!

Yeah, the Danes seem to have nailed this one on the head.
I'm with Drew. Where's the beer?
