Another one for Anglophiles 

It's nice to see these rare bits of Flanders & Swann on youtube:



They have enough of a remaining following to be parodied (warning, NSFW for language). A force down below which builds a certain pressure...

The Hippopotamus Song is standard bedtime fair in the GMT household.

"Mud, Mud, glorius mud/
Nothing quite like it for cooling the blood/

But I am partically partial to "The Reluctant Cannibal", because it was the first Flanders and Swann song I ever heard, played at 33 1/3rpm on my grandfather's Hi-Fi in the the early 1970s when I was a wee lad and visiting on my own in Princeton. I went home with that LP: "At The Drop Of A Hat." The oddball sense of humor I have cultivated since then can be traced to this seminal influence.
