America's economy: "Still Fabulous"
I stand regularly and fairly accused of being a cheerleader for the American economy. Did you gloomsters ever think I might be right? If you are among those worried about the strength of America's economy over the long-term, read John Wixted:

[W]e may again have a recession because lending practices got out of hand and too many people opted for mortgage-based investments. The result will be a period of slow growth (and possibly a recession) superimposed on a relentless economic juggernaut that has no equal anywhere in the world.
There are lots of graphs and factoids, so read the whole thing and revel in the land of opportunity.
