Do we really need the translation? No, but here's the gist.

I'll bet you can find people across the world who feel that Bush ought to be impeached. Not just Iranians, but citizens from across the globe recognize that Bush is dangerous.

And if you think it's traitorous or treasonous to say that the C-in-C needs impeached, then what principles are we fighting to uphold? Freedom of speech? Dissent?

It's a topsy-turvy world indeed, when treason is excused as a mere exercise in free speech.

Gordon:

"I'll bet you can find people across the world who feel that Bush ought to be impeached. Not just Iranians, but citizens from across the globe recognize that Bush is dangerous."

That's completely true. You can also find citizens across the globe who believe the Tooth Fairy packs a .44 and a bad-ass attitude. Your point was?

"And if you think it's traitorous or treasonous to say that-"

Pardon me for interrupting, but did you just say "you", meaning TigerHawk? You can use the generic "you" in real life, but not on blogsites. I believe you meant, "And if one thinks..."

"...the C-in-C needs impeached, then what principles are we fighting to uphold? Freedom of speech? Dissent?"

Would you agree, Gordon, that there's a difference between wanting to impeach a president for actually breaking the law, like Nixon, and wanting him impeached for mere political gain, like Clinton and now Bush?

If so, would you agree that there's a difference between wanting to impeach a president for mere political gain during times of peace, and times of war?

And, if so, what do you call someone who seeks to get rid of our commander during times of war using something other than the electorial process?

If you don't like "traitor", how about "anarchist"?

And lying under oath to a grand jury, which seems to be a crime only when a Republican does that I suppose.
