The main emphasis of the article seems to be electronic warfare and SEAD with regards to Iran.

Seems there should be some mention of AESA as a counter-argument to the "neglect of electronic attack" statement.

Radar = Ray Gun?

Global Hawk Gets Death Ray

SEAD

UAVs may provide a superior platform (compared to the B-52) utilizing loitering munitions (or similar technologies) with regards to supppression of enemy air defenses.

- SEAD
- DEAD
- Attacks with directed energy weapons (see above, AESA)
- Armed recon
- ISR and battle damage assessment

Smart Weapons for UAVs

Low Cost Autonomous Attack System

Surveilling Miniature Attack
Cruise Missile (SMACM)

it is possible that the B-52 could also serve as a delivery platform for these loitering munitions

With numerous SOF inflitrated at key enemy installations, just before the first of many waves of cruise missiles and selected attacks by Armed UAVs, followed by long range missiles, followed by stealth aircraft, followed by fast ground attack aircraft, followed by Buffs and then any other new or old toys we can get our hands on...

What about our new space weapon? Is it ready yet, can we launch multiples of it just days before they are needed?

I say turn all radio transmitters to max all around Iran and blast them with Willie and Waylon and the rest of the outlaws until they can't stand at their posts any longer.

Then promise them dates with the dixie chicks if they will defect.

Well, lets just say it will be a bad day for those Iranians who stay.
