New Jersey's continuing war against employers
Tomorrow, New Jersey's legislature will vote on yet another proposal calculated to drive jobs out of the state. Between the plaintiff-friendly courts and the structure of the corporate income tax and the impending requirement to give workers family leave with pay and no end of other issues, we will be left with government employees (there are an absurd number of those in this state), retail workers, personal service jobs that cannot be moved (think gasoline pumpers, barbers, and massage therapists), professionals, and executives who want to live here.

And the only reason there are gasoline pumpers is because self service is illegal in New Jersey.

O/T..get the word out please
I've sent this easy note to a dozen outlets so far eg..Glenn Beck,Washington Times, Newt.org,Pajams Media, Frontpage Mag, CPAC,FOX,RUSH....we need others to spread the word pls help..just copy and paste.
Sir/Madame
Please promote this idea. Thx
I do a good deal of blogging on conservative sites. Several of us believe that to defeat the Amnesty Illegal immigration bill a rally would be a great idea.
* Attempt to get the word out that on July 4th each state capital should be the focal point of the rally. Attempt to gather 100k at each capitol as an average. This would be 5 million people!!
* Attempt to get 250,000 in the metro DC area to the Mall and then surround the WH.
* Neither the pols not the MSM could avoid getting the message...pls pass the word.
Best regards,
then I include my name ,address, email, tel

TigerHawk,
This seems like the perfect opportunity to mention that Texas has no personal income tax (it's prohibited by the state constitution); that DFW Airport is American's hub, so you can get to either coast pretty conveniently; and that housing is extremely affordable here. As a result, Dallas and environs have tons of corporate headquarters. All things your employer should know. :)
Plus, we have SMU. Uh, did I mention that we don't have an income tax?
I moved my company already. NJ still comes after me, since we're an old style sub-S corporation and the State abhors pass-through entities, disallowing all kinds of deductions (like interest) for companies like ours. I don't really want to move my family, but I'm having a hard time explaining to myself why I make voluntary contributions to the state on such an enormous level.
