Hawk,

Thought you might find this interesting:

"Over on YouTube, as of 9:59 a.m. ET today, Congressman Ron Paul has passed everyone, and now has the most YouTube subscribers of all presidential candidates -- Republican and Democratic.
Ron Paul - 5,679
Barack Obama - 5,678
Hillary Clinton - 2,998
John Edwards - 2,750
Mitt Romney - 1,977"

Ron Paul's online activism is clearly way out of proportion with his genuine support. Yesterday's Gallup Poll showed his support as zero percent. There are probably a few hundred or even thousand online libertarian lunatic types who are working hard to create something out of nothing for the Paul campaign.

Paul and Gravel are cut from the same cloth: They are authentic, but won't get anywhere notwithstanding their authenticity.

That's an amusing, but unfortunate picture...

Of course, thanks to the Lose Weight With TigerHawk program (or at least, concurrent with said program), I am no longer a member of that group (or even close to it) :-)

I wish I could say the same. The lose weight with "TigerLoad" campaign crashed and burned on my horrendous travel schedule. But I'm going to try again!

So, no nation is higher? Not even Monaco? Or, San Marino, or, some far off Pacific island?

...what do I care right, I'm effortlessly wallowing in that "other 69%"...

1 lb. of adipose tissue = 3,500 calories = more circulating adipokines = detrimental health consequences

Perhaps the obese should pay higher health insurance premiums

And when they say Korea, which Korea are they talking about? I'm certain that the southern side is more "heavier" than the northern side.

If they polled the south, and they are the ones @ 3%, you can cut another 2% off the north because the only ones eating are in the government.

Another case of beat the yanks over the head.

Maybe, liks most statistics, it depends on what the meaning of BMI is and how the statistic were obtained. Then again, as this is the sort of thing that lot of people think must be correct, no effort will be made to check th background of the claims.

Hmmm, the economist had a story some time back stating that it was Australia, US and then UK a close third in the obesity, er, 'stakes'.

I always wonder where the data comes from and how it's obtained? Of course, I could just have a faulty memory.....
