Green is as green does
I, for one, am troubled that the CIA's publicists believe that this reflects well on the agency. I know that I want my spies driving around with all the horsepower that good tradecraft will allow. If the CIA is worried that it will not appear green enough to its liberal base, it should buy carbon offsets from the State Department.

All of this Earth Day crap must really be chapping your a** this weekend. Even Google has changed their icon for a day, showing a melting glacier. Zounds!!! Redneck icons Tom McGraw & Faith Hill...touring with Sheryl Crow?! The humanity. Even my die hard O'Reilly-loving neighbor was in Whole Foods yesterday buying all this fair trade/price-organic coffee and other crap. Meyers cleaning supplies and other green stuff!!! My wife and I almost fainted. Here's the kicker. He says he's gonna...gulp...buy a Prius?! His take: the Chinese are destroying our planet's ecology and the western world's economy. He says China is a bigger threat to our way of life than any Arab. And he buys organic and fair trade products to build native economies so poor folks from these black,brown and red places won't add to our immigration proble,. Lord have mercy. But hey, whatever works...
As for spies, it shouldn't be horsepower. You've been watching too many movies.

I got a diesel 99' Jetta that gets better mileage than those pieces of crap, and it'll last for at least 250K miles based on all the other VW diesels I've owned over the years.
