Da Bears!
The "worst 13-3 team in history" just marched out the Saints to win the NFC championship. It's crow-eating time all over the country, including, by the way, throughout the mighty city of Chicago.

Yeah...da Bears. I got out the old Superbowl 86 hat tonight. Here in the heart of Colt country I'm gonna have some fun this week. Got the Superbowl Shuffle tape ready to show the younguns after the Colts/Pats game.
Glad McCaskey is leaving the team alone.

Sorry, still rooting for the Colts, even after they beat my Patriots.
The terrible thing about close games is that the losing team must forever "entertain" itself with reasons why it shoulda won. When the Bears beat my Patriots 46-10 in 86, it was notable because if you took every possible wouldashouldacoulda into account - every bad call and fluke injury - the Bears would still have won. As a lifelong Red Sox fan as well, let me assure you those don't hurt as long.
