I might be wrong here, but wasn't it Germany shooting rockets at Britain? I don't ever recall learning about Britain launching rockets at Germany. I do remember the Allies pounding Germany into submission with indiscriminate bombing.

The point of the cartoon is still solid, though - the press of today would probably hype German casualties and attack the Allied response as "disproportionate".

Agreed - the cartoon is not historically symmetrical.
